Ksusha & Kristina: Selfies in Starbucks

Ksusha (left) and Kristina, two Moscow high school students, were sitting in a packed Starbucks on Old Arbat street on a Sunday evening, snapping selfies in between drinking their hot chocolate. Ksushu said they haven’t seen each other in a while and decided to take a walk along Arbat. They stopped in to Starbucks to warm up with a hot drink. Ksushu said she has been studying English and German and is now trying to learn Spanish. ”Spanish is beautiful. As it’s my third foreign language, it’s not so difficult.” I asked if she wanted to become an interpreter. She said she hadn’t decided yet what she will study in university, but most likely economics.
